and now for some political news....
so i have the privilege of working next to this awesome organization called exhale. they are an after abortion counseling talk-line (1.800.4exhale) that just went national last year and are also multi-lingual. i mean, let's be real, women who have abortions are going to have feelings about the experience and those feelings and experiences will be individual and different. they will be wanting to talk to someone to get some support. and that is why exhale is around. they rock! in addition, the women will also have people around them who love, care and want to support them, especially after the experience of an abortion. so recently, exhale unveiled a series of e-cards on their website that people can send to women who have had abortions as a sign of support and caring. i mean, hallmark has a card for every other blessed event in someone's life and all the non-holidays too! it's not odd or weird to want to show someone support after a very emotional experience. it's awesome! anyways....apparently these e-cards have raised a huge ruckus in the world which was started by this ap article. rush limbaugh went off on it and refers to my friend as 'that baker babe', which she finds hilarious and so do i. so anyways, my friend rocks and has been all over the news and on tv. you can watch her on fox holdin' it down. and if you want to help exhale continue to do the awesome work that they are doing and have some extra cash, donate to them so they can continue to help women who have had abortions. support them, so they can support the women who are our mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, and grandmas.
